 A reflection on the authority, resilience, and political power of Black women’s voices, this piece examines how Black women leaders are often met with scrutiny, intimidation, and attempts at silencing when they challenge institutions of power. Drawing connections between history, present-day politics, and local leadership, it calls for solidarity, accountability, and collective action in defense of Black women who refuse to shrink.
